MEET THE DIRECTOR

Many people have talent that they are not utilizing. With the desire to help them discover that talent, Dwayne Wiggins, Jr.  started D. Wiggins Productions, Inc. in 2006. D. Dwayne believes that education in theatre is valuable not only for the professional arena, but also teaches life skills that can be used in many other careers. 

Through D. Wiggins Productions, Dwayne has been provided with an avenue where creative talent can be nurtured and developed in children and adults alike. It is his desire that each play that he writes, produces, and directs will heal the souls of those watching who are struggling with difficult situations. Dwayne's plays are all based on real-life experiences. It is his desire to nurture people with a passion for acting, directing, and writing.

Born and raised in Florida and growing up in a single-parent household as the eldest of five children and having to assume the role of father-figure to his brother and sisters, has painted Dwayne's life with many experiences, struggles, and triumphs. Dwayne has a desire to reach people through his plays and to fulfill his mission of teaching life skills and how to cope with the hard times life's journey may presents. 

 

Dwayne has been writing and producing inspirational plays since the age of 14 and currently has 17 plays under his belt. Dwayne knows that his purpose on this earth is to help others recognize, develop and use their God-given intuitive abilities to ease suffering and grow in goodness, love, and wisdom. He encourages other to explore their creative impulses and to discover their true capabilities; as he believes the Arts increase the rate of success among youth growing up under hardships. 

 

In 2008 Dwayne moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Since 2008 he has produced a number of plays. Dwayne stands on the motto that when you believe the impossible, the incredible will happen! With faith all things are possible.

Dwayne is a graduate of Full Sail University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Entertainment Business. He's currently enrolled into Full Sail University, were he is working to obtain his Master's (M.F.A.) in Creative Writing. He's a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars where he is the President Emeritus of the Full Sail University Chapter and is currently a National Leadership Council advisor. Dwayne is currently serving as a Board Member for the nonprofit charity More Than A Percentage and Options Academy.
